A subtly embossed, closed-face flagstone
The lightly embossed surface of Canterra® flagstones provides a close match for natural stone such as Caithness or bush-hammered granite, making them ideal for conservation areas and traditional architectural schemes.
Their brushed semi-sheen appearance is the result of a unique ‘curling’ process which creates an unusually closed face – meaning that besides looking absolutely stunning in situ, they’re much easier to clean and maintain than traditional flagstones. This also makes them great for internal applications.
Canterra® flagstones contain granite chippings to make them extremely durable – it's a product that gives architects all the benefits of natural stone, with none of the downsides.
Canterra® is manufactured using a diamond-tipped brushing process which gives the product its unique closed face and a subtle, velvet-like texture. A state-of-the-art curing system guards against efflorescence and shading.
Canterra® uses the highest quality granite materials in its face mix, giving it both extreme durability and very low slip potential.
Canterra® is available in three well-chosen colours that work well in all types of modern and heritage schemes – as well as two sizes and three depths to suit a variety of public realm and trafficking applications.
Canterra® is produced in the UK from locally sourced materials, using a high percentage of recycled non-primary materials in the base mix, and 100% harvested rain water and renewable energy in the production process.
